Screw that....sue his boss! Let their insurance pay for you the rest of your life. After all, it's the new American Dream!

I think I actually like this idea.

Thoughts?
What would it do to the all-powerful small business that makes it's living driving up and down the roads?

I'd support a tax break for small businesses to offset the cost.

I'm not sold on the idea. Actually, I don't like it at all. I like one posters comments around urban /rural premiums. I hope that folks living in rural areas of CA wouldn't be expected to pay the same rate per mile as those in Los Angeles for instance.

A new talking point perhaps..Insurance reform..

SO...... the business will give more money to the insurance company and then be subsidised by the government to make up the shortfall. Do you work for Haliburton?. Why doesn't the government just write the check to the insurance company and skip the middle man?

Ok, how about small business vehicles are exempt totally from the tax. I know there would be abuse but a few extra checks and balances could minimize that.

Tax cuts/handouts for small businesses sound fine to me as long as they can prove their employees are making $12/hour and are paying for health insurance. If they are paying $7/hour and giving them the number for Social Services for their healthcare I would have to pass.
