In my opinon, Hambone was just pointing out the fact that veterans that serve in war efforts probably have a higher rate of suicide and depression than the average civilian (I didn't research that but it is an educated guess). He made that post before we even knew the killer's name so chill out a little bit buddy. I do appreciate the additional level of craziness that you bring to this forum though. Keep it up buddy. |

might be factual but sentence structure looks like a 5th grader wrote it....was hard to read.

During the Bush years, we did not have the body count coming out of Afghanistan as we do now. We had a high body count coming out of Iraq and Bush sent more troops to stop the bleeding. Things are now shifted to Afghanistan because Bush's policies have established a foothold in Iraq. You've got to get out of the "blame Bush" mode.

Uh, mr. bonehead, in this sort of situation that is exactly the way it goes. It is obvious the killer is a terrorist that commited a terrorist act. He placed muslums, which we are at war against, over the very own soldiers and Country which he has given a solemn oath to defend. I hope he survives then perhaps the world, to including the slimeball liberals of this Country can see just how these people think. After his court martial, I will look forward to him facing the firing squad.

You tell me all all about your military experience and I'll tell you about mine. If we have a common frame of reference, then we can talk. |

Mine: A little less than 2 years in Vietnam (1967-1968). 20 years in the military - some of it full time (3 years), and 17 of it in the National Guard. I know you have a similar background. I wish others would share theirs. I guess I respect the opinion of former military (or at least their veracity) more than I do the ones who do not have a day's military service and many of them who have avoided service. I don't know if you've at 20 years in the military, Hambone, but I do know you served! As an aside, whether you blame Bush, Obama, or both it doesn't much matter to me. I want our soldiers to be well provided for, and made as safe as possible in a wartime environment. This means more guns, ammo, and filed-ready equipment! |

I spent four yrs in the Army from 83-87. But whether I spent 0yrs or 40yrs, this doesn't have any bearing on the truth. Political correctness is paralyzing our nation by you stinkin liberals. You can get kicked out of the military for making derogatory statements about gays, but if you make statements that support our enemy we are at war with, nothing happens.
